Dwight Veterinary Clinic

Meet our Dwight Veterinary Clinic Team

Our caring Dwight, IL veterinarians have deep local roots, are active in the Livingston County community, and share dozens of years of experience. Additionally, we are here to educate pet owners in the specific needs of their special pet, and we enjoy the interactions with multiple generations of pet owners over the years.

Angie Haag-Eggenberger

DVM & Co-Owner

"I enjoy being able to offer clients a quality of medicine you don't see everywhere."

With the ever-changing veterinary field, Dr. Angie Haag-Eggenberger brings to our practice a fresh perspective of medical care for your pet using the current techniques and medications.

A 2005 DVM graduate from University of Illinois, Dr. Angie Haag-Eggenberger joined our practice in February of 2011. She is a member of the ISVMA, AVMA, AAHA and the Sigma Alpha Sorority Alumni. She is a member and regular volunteer at the Livingston County Humane Society.

Dr. Haag-Eggenberger and her husband, Jason, have two daughters, Addison and Emma. They also have two Saint Bernards, Jewel and Pearl and a three-legged house cat, Sherman. When not devoting time to your pet's care, she enjoys relaxing in the pool and spending time with family.

Abigail Winebaugh

DVM

"My story is kind of the cliché version of I always wanted to be a vet. My family raised show rabbits, and I learned how to walk by following them around the house. I got my first dog (a basset hound) on my third birthday. Fast forward to my elementary years, I was taking care of our chickens, sheep, goats, dogs, cats, rabbits, and horses. Once I started shadowing at my local vet in high school, I knew that there was no other profession I wanted to be in."

Dr. Abigail Winebaugh is the newest addition to Dwight Veterinary Clinic, and she is thrilled to join this awesome crew! Dr. Winebaugh earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama (Huntsville) and her doctorate degree from St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her clinical at Mississippi State University. Her primary interests are behavior, acupuncture, and the surgical needs of cats and dogs. She is fear-free certified.

In her free time, Dr. Winebaugh enjoys knitting, sewing, and hiking with her dog, Bandit, an Australian cattle dog mix. She recently got Rhode Island Red and Easter Egg chicks and is looking forward to watching them grow up.
