What To Expect At Your First Visit

Our physical exams are comprehensive. Your pet will be gently examined to allow us to get a better understanding of your pet’s health. From there, we may recommend additional important services to maintain or improve your pet’s health, such as vaccinations, parasite testing and prevention, and blood work. This is also the time to ask our trained veterinarians any questions you may have about your pet’s wellbeing.

It’s important that you bring your pet’s previous medical records with you or email them to us before your visit.

This will give us a better understanding of your pet’s overall health and support the findings of the physical exam. For example, without previous medical records, our doctors may recommend certain services that are already up-to-date.

We ask you to send any previous medical records to dwightvet@gmail.com at least 48 prior to your appointment.

Payment Policy

Payment is required when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients’ needs, optimal customer service, and minimizing costs, we do not bill.

We accept cash, checks, debit, credit (American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa), and CareCredit®. All cards must be signed by the card owner.

When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well. We understand this and are able to make some special arrangements through our CareCredit® program. All you have to do is complete a quick 5-minute application and you will be able to split payments into 6 monthly installments. You can apply at our hospital or learn more using our Dwight CareCredit® link.

Online Client Form

All clients are required to complete a Client Form. Our client form is available online for your convenience and allows you to complete in the comfort of your own home or office. This form takes no more than 5 minutes to complete and allows us to record our patients and clients in our practice management software so we can efficiently provide the service you deserve.
